My own half pints o' cider half drunk up with their newly fashioned corn husk dolls. :)Our recent read-aloud has been Little House In The Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder. With exception to the one song Pa sang about the "darkeys" going to heaven (which the girls did not seem to catch anyway), we all quite enjoyed this story of American pioneer life in the late 1800s.

I still love to re-read my own set of Little House books every no and again. A couple of years ago my friend even bought me my own tin cup, which thrilled me more than it should being that Im in my late 30s LOL
